- Vehicle Overview
- Vehicle Location
This fully original Shelby GT500 4 speed was found by PTTM in the USA as a true Barn find and was sold by PTTM to Axel from Germany who fell in love with this rare car. It will be concourse restored back to its former factory original condition!
The car is a genuine and rare early 67's Shelby with its inboard lights and functional side scoops and its also a rare 4-speed car and in the very rare Dark moss green color. This car has a great pedigree and was one of the last cars Caroll Shelby build in its own factory. All later models were produced at Ford plants under his license. The 4 speed in combination with its originality and rare color combination makes this car very interesting as a collector and investment grade car.
The car was a true barn find as when we found it is stood in a barn untouched for more than 45 Years! It's still has all its original parts in place and it has the factory original 428 police interceptor V8 big block and its Vin stamped Toploader 4 speed transmission as well. How rare is that? The body is still pretty solid and dry but all the important original pieces are with the car. We will restore this rare Shelby back to its original as new condition but it wont be just for show but also to drive and enjoy it.
PTTM is going to perform a complete rotisserie restoration and the complete drive line, engine and transmission will also be restored / rebuild along with every other expect and detail of the car. All the work will be performed in our own shops. PTTM has restored many Shelby's already and were very sure this car will turn our great and will bring the new owner great joy. It's also a great investment especially in this original and rare condition.
This project will start soon! More news and pictures follow soon! Some current pictures are samples and not of the actual car. If you also want us to restore your car, or want us to find one to restore for you, feel free to contact our sales !
